A major advantage of sand blasting on walls as opposed to washing is that sand is easy to come by and a bag of sand can be used to sand blast an entire wall because all the sand that drops down can always be scooped up and used time and time again.
For starters, it is color or the paint work that makes the structure visible and many people will notice a structure once it has been painted as opposed to before. Depending on the material used in construction, some structures may succumb to weather and more particularly; corrosion but with good painting contractor, such problems are eradicated.
